I have an external Firewire hard drive and don't have permissions to view certain files because I'm not the creator of them. When I'm done clearing-out a storage unit, I'm going to try to crack them.

Squeeee!

Cyber Monday and Holiday sales!!!

We've cut prices for the holidays!!! And on top of that, from now until midnight on Monday, you'll receive an extra 25% off of everything originally priced from $20 to $60. If you've had your eye on anything, this is the time to get it! Its also a great time to pick up some presents ^_~ We'll be retiring the majority of our stock at the end of January to make room for our new '10-'11 collections, so this is quite possibly your last chance to get most of what's listed.

For the holidays, a free gift will come with all orders that add the "Free gift" product found in the special offers section.

In other news, we should be adding 2 more conventions to our list in the next few days, so definitely add us on facebook for updates on that ^-^

Yet another fantastic Thanksgiving thanks to Vail and Jesse.

Autumn and I rolled in a little after 2, after missing the exit we were looking for due to being caught up in good and interesting conversation.

Many of the usual suspects were in attendance, which lead to more great conversation, interrupted briefly by fantastic food. Was particularly nice to see Nicole rolling back through town... hadn't seen her in a couple of years. Always good to be able to catch up a little with people in person.

Festivities stretched well into the night, accompanied by games and tasty desserts. And breakfast the next morning... and more games...

Totally fantastic. As usual.

VARIOUS ARTESANS
FRESH GOTH MESS
KS

[info]kid_sportswear knows a thing or ten about unruly, quintessentially nosiy bastards, and he’s thrown a variety together here in the belief it represents a gathering close to the finest Goth spirit, but without the social stigma, which is an interesting concept. He doesn’t realise that having veered off to investigate the Art-Punk-Indie (translation: tuneless timewasters)/Dance-Hippy (translation: Hippies dancing) vortex he is now slowly being assimilated, drawn back into the richer, darker world. You can jog, but you can’t hide.

It ends up as a 2CD set, and here we go. Eyes down for a haunted house. (Do bingo jokes work outside the UK?)

I'm learning, the hard way, the meaning of being thankful. I am equally as thankful for the true friends who have stood by me, especially the past few days, as I am thankful for the false friends that exposed their jealousy, apathy or prejudice the past few days to show me that I did not need them in my life and they happily removed themselves from my life.

One of them is still very, very painful: Someone I knew for over 2 years, confided in him, shared the hey-yay-deep-things of my dark and twisted mind with him, got counseling from him.. and was horrifically and publicly betrayed by him because I was in 2 NYC style magazines. How does one prepare themselves for that? Close, one of your supposed best friends, does that to you..

YOU'RE THE BEST AROUND

You know, I don't mean to hate on the eighties. I grew up with the same fondness, guys! I just think I may have watched fewer cartoons and more movies with punching. And possibly some puppets.

I AM SO ALL ABOUT THE HAPPY GOOD TIMES ACTION MOVIES

Because how can you stay grumpy after watching The Karate Kid or The Neverending Story or Big Trouble in Little China or even Die Hard?

I mean, really?

For several months on and off, I've arranged my room mate's stuffed cat and dog into various sexual positions, frequently with the cat receiving oral. It's taken the R.A. till when I was leaving Wednesday to notice/comment. Also took me putting them on my bed and raising the cat's tail before placing the dog doggy-style. I laughed so hard.

feeling the need to hermit. hrmph. i get so tired of people sometimes. i suppose this week has been more packed with people and events than the usual, resulting in this run down feeling. not really run down exactly, more the desire to be alone, curled up with a book.

i did run out to the bookstore to find a latte and a cozy chair for a couple hours, but the anxiety of having people around didn't go away, so i left before i meant to.

anyhow, i've started Human Society in Ethics and Politics by Bertrand Russell and all i can say is that i'm in love. he's a little dense, but after a period to acclimate yourself to his style he becomes much easier to absorb. the cool thing is, that while on the same subject he is not just repeating himself over and over in different ways (which some authors and people (namely myself) have a tendency to do). he keeps bringing up new shades of grey and it is so cool.

so... quotes! )
